Dreadful weather yesterday. It had been raining lightly and as soon as we started shooting, gallons just poured out of nowhere!
So we reckoned, hey, for what it's worth, might as well make the best out of it because we'll be soaking wet anyway!

Originality Technique ImpactI'll start off with what bother me with the shot and then what made me add this to my favorites.
Even though the bokeh is beautiful on this picture, I have the feeling that Kereska is a bit out of focus and her face is a bit too soft.
Well the bad sides were quick!!!
Now on what I've appreciated:
- Cropping as far as I am concerned is really excellent, there are no dead areas in this shot and everything has its importance, the skirt going into the pool and the water covering it adds to drama to the shot and I really love it.
- The hand in the pool and the ring we care barely perceive, is well placed and givers the viewer the possibility to deduce what he wishes to why it is there and what she is doing.
- The obvious, the rain is the true bonus to the scene, from the wet hair of our model, to the water having a beautiful irregularity.
- Lastly, the model, though having a face too soft, is beautiful, I lover her lips but mostly her gaze that seems to be wandering out and that has some sort of desperate feeling to it.
